WHo We ARe

Hi! I'm Erin, a pediatric Occupational Therapist with a heart for early childhood development and a mission to support parents through their journey.

Throughout my career in pediatrics, one thing has become crystal clear: the early years of a child's life (0-5) are filled with both wonder and challenges. My work in Early Intervention opened my eyes to a crucial need – parents desperately seeking quality, practical resources to support their child's development.

This realization sparked Huddlewood. Drawing from my extensive experience working directly with families, I've created a space where parents can find trusted resources, practical strategies, and supportive guidance for navigating their child's early years.

My approach combines professional expertise with real-world understanding, offering resources that are both evidence-based and actually workable in daily life. Whether you're navigating developmental milestones, seeking ways to build stronger connections with your child, or looking for practical strategies that really work, you're in the right place.

I'm here to support you in making these precious early years less overwhelming and more joyful.

Welcome to Huddlewood – let's grow together.

THe SToRY BeHIND OUr NAMe

In the heart of child development lies a simple truth: growth happens best in spaces where we feel safe, supported, and understood. This is the foundation of Huddleood.

"Huddle"

A huddle is a moment of connection, support, and shared purpose. It represents:

  • The intimate moments between parent and child

  • The partnership between therapist and family

  • The community of parents supporting each other

  • The safe space where every question matters

"Wood"

Wood symbolizes our approach to growth and development:

  • Natural and organic, like a child's development journey

  • Strong yet flexible, adapting to each family's needs

  • Providing warmth and shelter, like our nurturing environment

  • Rooted in strength, growing at its own perfect pace

Together, Huddlewood creates a space where families gather to grow, learn, and thrive. Here, we believe that the strongest growth happens through connection, and every step forward is worth celebrating.

Like the strongest trees in a forest that support each other through their root systems, we believe in the power of connection to nurture growth. Here, every question is valid, every concern is heard, and every milestone – no matter how small – is celebrated.
